On April 26, 2008, at approximately 4:00 am, 20-year-old Erick Woods was fatally shot in the 2400 block of Elvans Road, SE, Washington, D.C. The incident occurred in the early morning hours, and Woods was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite emergency response efforts, he succumbed to his injuries on site. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has since sought information from the public in order to solve this case, which remains unsolved as of now.
