On June 13, 2021, at approximately 6:03 a.m., Tekoar Craig Jennette, aged 45, was found in the 4700 block of Benning Road, Southeast, Washington, DC, suffering from a gunshot wound. Initially, officers from the Sixth District responded to a report of a man down and discovered Jennette with an unknown injury.
