In the early morning hours of June 13, 2021, a grim discovery was made in the 4700 block of Benning Road, Southeast in Washington, D.C. At approximately 6:03 a.m., officers from the Sixth District responded to a call about a man down. The man, later identified as 47-year-old Tekoar Jennette of Camp Springs, Maryland, was found with an unspecified injury. He was a male.
