On October 30, 2015, 17-year-old Broderick Taylor Jr. was fatally shot during an altercation in Anniston, Alabama. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on West 15th Street, where Taylor became involved in a confrontation with 25-year-old Jerald Bailey. Witnesses reported that the dispute escalated, leading Bailey to draw a firearm and shoot Taylor multiple times in the chest.
