In a tragic turn of events on May 17, 2016, a dispute between two brothers in Fultondale, Alabama, ended in a fatal shooting. Andre Boyd, a 40-year-old Black male, was shot and killed during an altercation with his younger brother, Derwin Ray Boyd, who was 37 at the time. The incident unfolded at a public housing community where the two brothers resided together.
