Justin Marquise Prentice, a 20-year-old from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, was tragically shot and killed on August 11, 2016, in what authorities later determined to be a homicide. The shooting occurred in the early morning hours, when police responded to reports of gunfire in a residential area of Tuscaloosa. When officers arrived on the scene, they found Prentice suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
