On the night of October 22, 2016, 26-year-old African American male Marquest Lamar Allen was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred just after midnight in the Tuxedo Terrace housing project, located on the 2000 block of Avenue P in Ensley’s Tuxedo neighborhood.
