Jose Escobar

In the late evening hours of November 16, 2008, the life of 25-year-old Jose Escobar was tragically cut short in a violent encounter on a Southeast Washington, D.C. street. An African-American male, Escobar was in the 700 block of Atlantic Street SE when he was shot. Despite his grave injuries, he managed to stagger several blocks before collapsing.
