In the early morning hours of February 1, 2007, the life of Marcel Erwin, a 41-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short in Washington, D.C. At approximately 5:26 AM, authorities discovered Erwin in the 900 block of H Street, Northeast, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response of first responders, his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
