In the late hours of a Tuesday in Washington, D.C., the life of Ahkeem Goodwin, a 27-year-old male, was abruptly ended. On June 5, 2018, at approximately 10:07 p.m., the sound of gunfire echoed in the 4600 block of 6th Street, SE. When police arrived at the scene, they found Goodwin suffering from the fatal gunshot wounds.
