Fay was a former employee at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Cullman, and Bennie was a retired long-haul truck driver who later worked as a delivery driver for an office equipment company. The circumstances of their deaths were particularly shocking as the person who reported the shooting to 9-1-1 was their own son, Heath Benson Moore.
