Anna Carolyn Martin, a 6-year-old white female, died on May 15, 1940, in Montgomery, Alabama. Her death was the result of arsenic poisoning administered by her mother, Rhonda Belle Martin, who was later revealed to be a serial killer responsible for the deaths of multiple family members. Anna Carolyn's death was part of a series of poisonings that included her siblings and other relatives.
