On December 1, 2016, 57-year-old Arthur Moore Jr. was found deceased in his residence located in the 200 block of Avenue B in Opelika, Alabama. The discovery was made following a possible drive-by shooting that occurred the previous night. According to a press release from Lee County Coroner Bill Harris, Moore's body was located inside his home, indicating he may have been struck by gunfire during the incident.
