Tyrone Bennett, a 17-year-old from Fairfield, Alabama, was tragically shot and killed on January 18, 2017, in a shooting that rocked his family and the local community. Bennett was found with gunshot wounds in the 3000 block of Avenue B in Fairfield, a city just outside Birmingham. Police responded to the scene after receiving reports of the shooting, and despite efforts to save him, Bennett was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital shortly afterward.
