On August 26, 2021, in Fairfield, Alabama, 44-year-old Corey Waters was fatally shot. The incident occurred in the 500 block of 42nd Street, where deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office discovered Waters deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
