In the late evening hours of September 23, 2024, the life of 17-year-old Marquise Jermaine Witherspoon, a male from Bessemer, Alabama, was tragically cut short. The incident unfolded in the 300 block of 67th Street in the nearby city of Fairfield, where he was fatally shot at approximately 10:38 p.m.
