Kendarrius Dewayne Martin, a 19-year-old from Dothan, Alabama, was tragically killed on May 23, 2017, in what authorities later determined to be a homicide. Martin was found shot in a residential area of Dothan, and law enforcement quickly responded to the scene after receiving reports of gunfire.
