In the summer of 2017, the tight-knit community of Cullman, Alabama, was shaken by the tragic death of a prominent local attorney. Stephen K. Griffith, a 73-year-old male, was killed on July 17, 2017, in what authorities described as a home invasion. The incident occurred at his residence on County Road 1301 in the Vinemont area.
