On September 12, 2020, 56-year-old Herndon Self Jr. was fatally stabbed during an altercation inside a moving vehicle in Cullman, Alabama. The incident occurred near the intersection of Alabama Highway 157 and U.S. Highway 31. Self was transported to Cullman Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
