In the early morning hours of May 13, 2023, a fire broke out at a residence on County Road 1635 in Cullman County, Alabama. First responders, after extinguishing the blaze, made a grim discovery inside the home: the body of 49-year-old Noah Waters. An subsequent autopsy revealed a more sinister cause of death than the fire suggested; Waters had been shot, and his death was officially ruled a homicide.
