In the summer of 2017, a domestic dispute in Opelika, Alabama, ended in tragedy, claiming the life of 40-year-old Marshall Lee Norgard. On July 27th, officers were called to a residence where they discovered Norgard had been fatally shot. The male victim's life was cut short in a violent encounter that would soon reveal a familial connection to the alleged perpetrator.
