In the early hours of September 28, 2017, Dadeville, Alabama, was the scene of a tragic shooting that resulted in the death of 27-year-old John Farrel Adamson and left another individual, Gerald A. Haggerty, injured. At approximately 12:47 a.m., multiple 911 calls reported gunshots in the vicinity of Jah Street. Responding officers discovered Adamson and Haggerty suffering from gunshot wounds.
