On July 23, 2021, the body of 70-year-old Michael Johnson Sr. was discovered in a wooded area near Highway 50, south of Dadeville, Alabama. The Tallapoosa County Sheriff's Office initiated a homicide investigation and identified 59-year-old Willie Frank Wyckoff of Dadeville as a suspect. A murder warrant was issued for Wyckoff's arrest.

On July 26, 2021, Wyckoff was apprehended near Dadeville by the Tallapoosa County Narcotics Task Force and the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force. He ...Read More
