On September 20, 2009, at approximately 5:08 a.m., Abdullah Fuller, a 25-year-old man, was shot and killed in the 1300 block of Perry Street, Northeast, Washington, D.C. Fuller was found with multiple gunshot wounds in what was described as a tranquil neighborhood across from a Franciscan Monastery.
