On a Monday afternoon, September 28, 2009, in the 100 block of 35th Street in Southeast Washington, D.C., a man named Robert Jackson was shot. He was rushed to a hospital and fought for his life for three days before succumbing to his wounds on Thursday, October 1, 2009. The Metropolitan Police Department has continued to seek assistance from the public in gathering information regarding this incident, but the case remains unsolved.
