On June 11, 2014, at approximately 1:30 PM, Gerald Sidney Edwards III, aged 22, was shot and killed in the 1800 block of Tobias Drive, Southeast Washington, D.C. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the scene following reports of gunfire. Despite efforts to gather information and solve the case, the circumstances surrounding Gerald's death remain unclear.
