In the Norwood neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama, a story of violence unfolded that left a family grieving and a community seeking answers. On a Saturday evening just before Christmas in 2017, 43-year-old Tepe Edwards was shot. The incident occurred on December 23rd at 32nd Place North, a location situated behind Norwood Elementary School. Responders rushed him to UAB Hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
