In the quiet morning hours of January 6, 2018, the life of 25-year-old DeQuinton Danner was tragically cut short in Birmingham, Alabama. Responding to a call of shots fired at approximately 10:15 a.m., police officers discovered Danner in the driver's seat of his girlfriend's burgundy sedan. He had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene. The initial investigation was quickly launched to piece together the events that led to this senseless act of violence.
