On January 6, 2018, 25-year-old DeQuinton Danner was fatally shot while driving his girlfriend's car on the 300 block of Robison Drive in Birmingham, Alabama. Responding officers from the East Precinct discovered Danner unresponsive in the vehicle, having sustained a gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
