On September 30, 2020, at approximately 5:30 p.m., 41-year-old Rodger Burr II was fatally shot in a drive-by incident in Birmingham, Alabama. The shooting occurred at the intersection of Carline Avenue and Avenue T in the Pratt City neighborhood. Burr was inside his vehicle when another vehicle approached, and an occupant opened fire, striking him multiple times. His car then rolled forward and came to a stop a short distance away.
