On November 11, 2009, at approximately 8:47 pm, Babacar Mbaye Ndiaye, age 37, and Mouhamed Diop were both shot on the 1200 block of 44th Street, NE, in Washington, D.C. Babacar Ndiaye was immediately transported to Washington Hospital Center’s MedStar Unit, where he was pronounced dead shortly upon arrival. Mouhamed Diop, who was also critically injured during the incident, was transported to PG County Hospital, where he passed away the following morning around 4 am.
