Justin Cleveland, a 29-year-old man from Anniston, Alabama, was fatally shot on April 22, 2018, in what authorities later classified as a homicide. The incident took place late in the evening when Anniston police responded to reports of gunfire in the area of 14th Street. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found Cleveland suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
