On March 9, 2017, 25-year-old Anthony Finch was found deceased in Anniston, Alabama. Responding to reports of gunfire, police discovered Finch's body in the passenger seat of a vehicle, the victim of a fatal gunshot wound. Later that day, authorities located the body of 32-year-old Tysel Safford in a nearby ditch, approximately 350 yards from where Finch was found. Both men had been shot, prompting an investigation into the apparent double homicide.
