On July 8, 2018, 16-year-old Arrielle Lashawn Parker-Jefferies was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting in Birmingham, Alabama. A rising senior at Wenonah High School and a member of the school's dance team, Arrielle was known for her bright spirit and academic dedication.
