On the night of September 16, 2018, at approximately 11:51 p.m., Mobile police responded to a shooting incident in the 600 block of Wilson Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 49-year-old Joel Baker suffering from gunshot wounds. He was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
