Donald Ray Lanieu, aged 29, was fatally shot on May 26, 2011, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident was part of a double shooting that took place late at night. The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office indicated that the shooting may have been drug-related, and several arrests were made following the investigation. Lanieu was found at the scene with fatal injuries, and he passed away soon after.
