On June 28, 2023, in Danville, Virginia, 28-year-old Andrieu Dreu' Quiell Reuquon Barley was fatally shot following an altercation. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Southland Drive, where police found Barley suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
