In the late evening hours of June 28, 2023, a dispute in Danville, Virginia, tragically cut short the life of 27-year-old Andreiu Dreu' Quiell Reuquon Barley. The Black / African American male was fatally shot following an altercation in the 200 block of Southland Drive. The incident, which unfolded around 10:30 p.m., concluded a confrontation that escalated into an exchange of gunfire.
