In the spring of 2022, a fatal shooting in Danville, Virginia, cut short the life of 29-year-old Brandon Alexander Gore. On the morning of May 17, police responded to a call about a man shot at an apartment complex on Richmond Boulevard. There, in the breezeway of a building, they found Gore suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.
