On May 30, 2010, Edward Pope, a 26-year-old man from Washington, D.C., was tragically shot and killed in the early morning hours. The incident occurred around 4:35 AM in the 100 block of 53rd Street SE. Despite police efforts to investigate, his case remains unsolved.
