In the pre-dawn hours of a late spring morning in Washington, D.C., the life of Edward H. Pope, a male resident of the city, was tragically cut short. On Sunday, May 30, 2010, at approximately 4:35 a.m., Pope was shot and killed in the 100 block of 53rd Street, Southeast.
