On the evening of March 28, 2019, a dispute in the parking lot of a Trussville, Alabama Cracker Barrel tragically cut short the life of 40-year-old Randy Young, a Black male. The altercation began when Young's vehicle was blocked by a truck in which Bryan Patrick Hancock was a passenger. An argument ensued between Young and Hancock.
