On June 9, 2019, in Dothan, Alabama, 27-year-old Akheem Benjamin Hall was fatally shot in the front yard of his residence on Naomi Drive. Responding officers found Hall with gunshot wounds to his forearm and upper back; despite rescue efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
