In the early evening of February 12, 2020, a violent confrontation erupted inside a Walmart Neighborhood Market on Government Boulevard in Mobile, Alabama, leaving two men dead. Seantatis Kirksey, a 44-year-old male, was one of the individuals who succumbed to gunshot wounds following the altercation. The incident, which sent shoppers and employees scrambling for safety, unfolded at approximately 8:40 p.m.
when an argument between Kirksey and another man, 21-year-old Jaquess Thompson, escalated into a shootout.
According to police, Kirksey and Thompson, who reportedly lived on the same street, were engaged in a dispute within the confines of the grocery store.
