On the night of March 27, 2020, in Huntsville, Alabama, a dispute between rival motorcycle clubs escalated into a burst of violence that claimed the life of 45-year-old Kelcey Wayne Delonzoe Smith. The fatal confrontation also resulted in the death of another man, 53-year-old Bernard E. Griffin. The shootings took place outside a motorcycle club on Mastin Lake Road, shattering the night with the sound of gunfire and leaving a scene of chaos for authorities to unravel.
