On September 28, 2020, 18-year-old Ameir Sherrod Townsend was found deceased on Brown Road in Sylacauga, Alabama. Responding to a call about an unresponsive individual around 5:30 p.m., deputies from the Talladega County Sheriff's Office and members of the Childersburg Fire Department discovered Townsend's body. He had suffered a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene by Talladega County Coroner Shaddix Murphy. Following standard procedure, his body was transported to the Alaba ...Read More
