In the late afternoon of September 28, 2020, the life of 18-year-old Ameir Sherrod Townsend was tragically cut short in Sylacauga, Alabama. Deputies from the Talladega County Sheriff's Office, along with members of the Childersburg Fire Department, responded to a call about an unresponsive person on Brown Road at approximately 5:30 P.M.
