David Earl Whetstone

David Earl Whetstone, a 65-year-old Black man, was killed on November 22, 2020 in Sylacauga, Alabama, and by the time law enforcement reached him that night he was already beyond help. It was around 9 p.m. when deputies with the Talladega County Sheriff’s Office, working alongside the Childersburg Police Department, responded to a report of a shooting.
