On the night of June 7, 2025, in the quiet area of Settlement Road in Sylacauga, Alabama, the life of 47-year-old Grover Madison Davis IV came to a violent end. A white male from the nearby town of Childersburg, Davis was discovered by Sylacauga Police Department officers who were responding to a report of a shooting. He was found with a fatal gunshot wound to the chest.
This incident occurred just fifteen minutes after another fatal shooting in the neighboring city of Talladega, though authorities stated there was no known connection between the two events.
