On October 27, 2020, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to a shooting in the 100 block of Center Street South. Upon arrival, they discovered 25-year-old Mondrelle Kellogg unresponsive on the ground near his vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. A female victim was also found at the scene with non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to UAB Hospital for treatment.
