In the early morning hours of November 27, 2020, in Selma, Alabama, the lives of two young men were tragically cut short. Wendell DeAndre Pullom, a 24-year-old Black male, and 28-year-old Johnny Bonner III were fatally shot at a residence on the 1300 block of Ceola L. Miller Avenue. When law enforcement arrived at the scene, they discovered both Pullom and Bonner unresponsive, each having sustained gunshot wounds. Both men were pronounced dead at the location of the shooting.
