On March 21, 2021, at approximately 6:14 p.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to a shooting at 1635 Alameda Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 29-year-old Montrell Fredrickgus Holloway unresponsive in a hallway with an apparent gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
