In the city of Birmingham, Alabama, the life of Randell 'Wren' Sanders, a 39-year-old man, was tragically cut short on Friday, November 9, 2012. A well-known and popular neighborhood barber, Sanders was at his place of work, the Still Stand'n Barber and Style Shop on Oporto-Madrid Boulevard, when a gunman entered and opened fire. The violent intrusion claimed Sanders' life, leaving a community in shock and a family to grieve a man described as a rock who had turned his life around.
