Joshua Pettiway, a 21-year-old man from Montgomery, Alabama, was tragically shot and killed on May 6, 2021. Pettiway was found suffering from gunshot wounds outside an apartment complex on the city's south side, in the area of the 1900 block of Upper Wetumpka Road. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, but despite efforts to revive him, Pettiway was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to the hospital.
