Keith "Big Keith" Hardy, a 29-year-old man from Birmingham, Alabama, was fatally shot on May 12, 2021, in what was later determined to be a homicide. Hardy was found at a residence on the 600 block of 27th Street North, after police responded to reports of gunfire. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Hardy suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite attempts by medical personnel to save him, he was pronounced dead shortly after the shooting.
